2019 brought one huge lifestyle change for me. I decided to go plant-based . The me of 2018 would have laughed. 2019 seems to be the year for it. Veganism is on the rise. People are drawn to it for many reasons. For me, it was for my health. Almost eight months in, I couldn't go back. I'm not strict, by any means. Who could give up Dairy Milk chocolate? Maybe that helps. But finding good food options outside of my own kitchen is a struggle. The choices are always the same. If there even is a choice. I am tired of falafel. Of curried this and spiced that. I am tired of everything coming with bell peppers. I am tired of the vegan option being less than the quantity and quality of food as the non-vegan option for the same price. I am tired of constant disappointment.
